Red Cedar: Known for its deep tones and warm, woody aroma, Red Cedar essential oil offers a wide range of benefits for the skin. It is one of the most grounding oils and can help create a peaceful atmosphere at the end of a long day. Native to cold climates, this tree typically grows on high mountain slopes and can reach up to 30 metres. Applied topically, Red Cedar essential oil has cleansing properties and is also often used in massage to support mental and physical relaxation and calm.

Sandalwood: Indian Sandalwood is a highly valued incense material and is widely used around the world in meditation practices to help heighten awareness. Like Hawaiian Sandalwood, White Sandalwood essential oil contributes to a pleasant sense of wellbeing and has a positive effect on mood. Combine Sandalwood with other essential oils such as Lavender or Wild Orange, then massage into the skin for a soothing, relaxing experience.

Nootka: Nootka essential oil is distilled from the majestic Nootka cypress, a close relative of western red cedar that grows along the north-western coast of North America. Nootka is known as one of the world’s hardiest cypress species and is also commonly called Nootka false cypress or Alaska cedar. As part of an environmental initiative, doTERRA uses wood debris left behind by the forestry industry to distil Nootka essential oil. This material would otherwise go to waste.

Directions for use

For massage, mix 5 drops with approximately 10 ml of carrier oil. For a bath, mix 5 drops with approximately 5 ml of carrier oil. For use as a fragrance, mix 1 drop with 10 drops of carrier oil. For external use only.
