Detox herbal tea blend (100 g) - doTERRA

We created this tea with Momó and Péter specifically as an herbal tea supplement for detox programs. Momó and Péter gained decades of knowledge at Hungary’s largest medicinal herb processor, where Momó worked as a senior executive and Péter as a sales representative. We concentrated their many decades of experience into this tea blend.

A perfect complement to detox programs: Easy preparation – pour one tablespoon of tea blend over one cup (2.5–3 dl) of hot water, let it steep for 5–10 minutes, then strain. Flavour to taste and enjoy natural support in 3–4 cups per day.

Contraindication: sensitivity to any of the ingredients

Side effects: allergic reactions may occur mainly in people with a history of asthma or allergic rhinitis.

Literature overview of herbs used for detoxification:

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium): Has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, may help with digestive problems and support liver health. Some studies have shown that yarrow may contribute to detoxification processes by increasing bile production ( more information).

Peppermint leaf (Mentha piperita): With its refreshing effect, it contributes to stimulating digestion and may ease bloating and stomach discomfort. Menthol, the main active compound in peppermint, supports proper intestinal function and detoxification processes.

Centaury (Centaurium erythraea): Traditionally used to support the liver and digestive system. Centaury increases the enzymatic activity of the liver, which may help the breakdown and elimination of toxic substances.

Corn silk (Zea mays): Known for its diuretic and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps kidney function and contributes to balanced fluid regulation, thereby supporting the removal of waste substances from the body.

Goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea): Long used to cleanse the urinary tract and support kidney function. Clinical studies support that goldenrod’s anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties may contribute to detoxification and the reduction of inflammatory processes.
