Anthemis nobilis
: Roman Chamomile is a small plant that reaches only about 30 cm in height. Its leaves are grey-green, its flowers resemble daisies and its fragrance is reminiscent of apples. It has earned the nickname “plant doctor” because of the positive effect it has on plants growing nearby. Ancient Romans drew courage from Roman Chamomile in times of war. Today, chamomile is best known for making tea, but Roman Chamomile can also be found in face creams, hair colour, shampoos and perfumes.
Primary benefits
- When applied topically, it soothes the skin and body.

Directions for use
Caution
Skin sensitivity may occur. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant or under medical treatment, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas.
Sourcing
Roman Chamomile can be challenging to grow because it is sensitive to changing weather conditions. Along the northwestern coast of North America and in certain parts of England, regular and plentiful annual rainfall combined with relatively stable climatic conditions creates ideal growing conditions for Roman Chamomile.
